JAIPRAKASH SEWA SANSTHAN [JSS], a ‘not-for-profit Trust’ promoted by Shri Jaiprakash Gaur, the Founder Chairman of the Jaypee Group, has been established to discharge its responsibility towards the society. The sansthan functions with a holistic approach for overall socio-economic development. Set up in 1993 the trust aims to realize the corporate philosophy of “Growth with a Humane Face” and try to help reduce the pain & agony in society.
JSS has translated its social responsibility into reality by building up schools and training institutes that cater to the needs of providing quality education to the rural masses. Under the Comprehensive Rural Development Programme (CRDP) adopted in villages surrounding the cement plant free health care and animal care programmes have been undertaken. The trust helps in times of natural catastrophe to reach the affected communities in distress. |

| To help the ladies of adopted villages to become self-reliant, tailoring classes are organized by the Sansthan. On successful completion of the training course, each lady is given one Sewing Machine free of cost. A group of selected village women are also trained in making Papads and Wadis. |
| Over the period, Group has expanded CRDP activities at its various project sites located in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. |
| Lakhs of villagers in areas around our various project locations benefit from safe drinking water plants, huge water reservoirs and free animal care services. Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS) is not just improving lives of people but is also making a better tomorrow for all with construction and renovation of roads & bridges, village schools, irrigation facilities, drainage system and religious structures. JSS is striving to build a satisfying and contented community – which is essential for a stronger nation. |
